Overview
The MAPY VAC is an inline gas analyser designed to monitor modified atmospheres in packages produced by traysealers and thermoformers. It measures O₂ or combined O₂/CO₂ concentrations before the package is sealed, allowing every packaging cycle to be checked without destroying the product.
Continuous monitoring helps identify deviations immediately, reducing the labour, packaging waste and product loss associated with manual sample testing. Adjustable limits and potential-free alarm contacts can alert operators or stop the packaging machine when measurements fall outside the specified range.
The MAPY VAC is available with a touchscreen or as a black-box version for control through the packaging machine or a connected computer. USB and Ethernet connectivity, data logging and administration for up to 250 products support integration into automated packaging and quality-control systems.
